We specialize in hands-on, child-led learning and the Forest School ethos is at the core of our values.
We work with schools to design bespoke sessions in Forest School, outdoor education and gardening. We are qualified Forest School practitioners with experience working with children in different settings. Here are some examples of the kinds of activities that we can offer:
- 2-hour morning/afternoon forest school sessions for school groups: We can work with the school to find a site that would be appropriate for doing forest school and undertake the processes that are necessary to gain permission etc. We can also work with the school to develop these activities on-site.
- After School clubs: Bring something different to your extra-curricular agenda- we can work on-site or arrange pick-ups to other local sites.
- Gardening/Food-growing: We can offer clubs, school sessions and intervention work with our gardening sessions no matter how developed your site might be- we can work with the children to design a food-growing site which is sustainable over the long term. We can also arrange visits to successful gardening projects.
- Help with funding: If sustaining these activities over the long term is difficult financially for the school, we can
work with the school to find funding options. Our aim is to be accessible as possible to all communities.
